Have a MOEN Shower 'Kit' we bought and installed in the Master Shower, Body Jets, High Mount Rain head, Hand spray head, all on separate on/off controls fed from a Central Temp control valve. Series is a 'PRESUMED' 775 Chromed paid less than $1000 back in 2004 or 5.
Had the spray head start dripping pretty constant and then rain head seems to not fully drain so started looking for Cartridges for All Three on/off controls, no one had in reasonable distance range, those I found were HIGH Dollar as only came in sales 'Kits'(Entire Set) $3200, one rep stated I should call MOEN Direct. So week later I call 800 BUY MOEN, nice gal on phone, we discussed what we had bought originally to rehab the last house in Warrenton in 2004 or 5 but never did that rehab installing in this house, explained what seeing and wanted to order replacement cartridges. NO Problem got address, email, telephone then noted receipt on my email and would be a few days shipping time. I questioned how she had billed for these without getting my Card Number, "Lifetime Warranty" and the Company is aware at roughly 10-15 year intervals do require cartridges, No Charge. Puffed Up as a old Bullfrog on that, made my day.

I found a busted old 'breaker bar' in a pickup one day...'brand name', looked it up, company was bought up by someone else, looked them up, they were bought up by Proto. So I emailed Proto and asked, kinda jokingly, if they were honouring the 'lifetime warranty' ? She said YES, sent two links, 18 and 24" bars , I said the 24 was probably it, She asked for my info, sent it , 4 days later DHL dropped off the Proto 24" breaker bar !!!! Bottom line... if never hurts to ASK !!!

Most faucet manufacturers will warranty a faucet for the life of the original purchaser. Problem is getting ahold of them. Telling them which faucet model. Then Telling them which part. And yes in 7 to 10 business days they will send you free parts . Moen is the best at answering the phone in a reasonable amount of time. Other manufacturers might have to call you back when they find the time. Or they want names , addresses, phone numbers, email addresses to send you junk mail ,telemarketer calls , an email a day for the rest of your life. Delta will only warranty electronic touch or wave faucets 5 years and require proof of purchase. Read the fine print when you buy something

When go to install a new faucet get replacement cartridges AT THE SAME TIME ! Either buy or get free ones, toss in the drawer in whatever room they're for OR tyrap them to the shutoffs UNDER the sink. You DID install shutoff, right ???? Unlike the 'contractor' when he did a 'complete' remodel of the upstairs bathroom..... ( yeah, it's already leaked....)

Great responses, just got lucky this time, and yes did have ball valve shut off installed for every plumbing drop, cheap investment as were the 20a electrical outlets circuits and breakers I installed. A little forward thinking has helped a lot.

Got a Price-Phister in kitchen in 08. Have got parts in mail free. Most trouble comes from the sprayer valve. Put in at least 3. Now loosing finish in places but according to warranty that's covered as well. She's looking at new sink and probably will use something different so my freebe may be moot.
