Have done this many times. Go to Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics, maybe even WalMart. Buy foam rubber in sheets and cut with utility knife into 2 or 3 inch strips. Spray adhesive or 3M weatherstrip glue. Lots cheaper and works well. Compress the foam while cutting and hang panels back on until adhesive sets. |

The foam kit part number is 70270115. I suppose the price on them is getting a little silly, too? There seems to be a lot of that going on anymore.

I got that top one for 8070 a year ago.I think it was around $50,maybe it was $150....I don't think I'd took it at that price.The tickets around here but I'm lazy.

I did the same thing that bugbird did with our 7020 and 7045. Easy to do and worked well. |

To cut form rubber a electric carving knife works real well, the blade action does a real good job without compressing foam. many Motorcycle seat upholsterers use it to fit foam to rider specs.
just be sure to clean it good before replacing in the kitchen and don't tell the wife.

THANKS FOR THE INFO. I HAVE A QUESTION, THE FOAM ON THE TRACTORS WAS EITHER BLACK OR GREY, THE ONLY FOAM I HAVE SEEN IS YELLOW, DOES ANYONE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? AND THANKS FOR THE MENARD INFO BUT SORRY NO MENARD IN SOUTH LOUISIANA
