I am not much of a Deere fan but it looks like a waste of two decent tractors to me.

It looks like they finally figured out that 4 cylinders is better than 2. They might finally have enough power to get some work done.

I think its photoshopped. The tires are in opposite directions so one will pull better than the other. Then if the transmissions are normal, reverse in one might come close to 1st gear in the other, but there's no way to match up the gears. There's not the possibility of flipping the differential ring gear to the other side, there's no right angle drive in the JD of that design.
Then the two radiators that close won't get good air either. Gerald J. |

I'd guess photoshop. It would take a lot of time and money for something so pointless and I... Hey wait a minute that sounds a lot like... OH nevermind, as I think about it, it's probably not photoshopped after all. LOL!

I guess it could be done....but it wouldn't be worth anything really. if you can't turn you can't take it to shows. At our show, a local john deere whiz and an allis guy put a deere and allis together. One was John Chalmers and the other was Allis Deere. Not sure if I've seen them there the last couple of years though. If they're there this year I'll take a picture.

Wow a bonus buck... I shoot the one the DNR will give me a tag for the other one, Since there antlers are locked up so tight.
Acualy someone around here did that this year. taged a buck with a bow licence draging a dead horn locked buck. Too bad he used a GUN to shoot it ON THE ROAD. And then braged about it. the Dnr came out looked at them and fined him.

On RFD they had a show where a John Deere and a Farmall were split in half and joined. They called it "Half Right".When they were done they still had the other 2 halfs so they joined them and call that one "Half Wrong".Basically a waste of 2 tractors ,but they were not A/C so who cares.

One muffler, one air cleaner, and steering rod is straight across, no hookup to it for anything. Frame rail straight across, no articulation joint. Unsure of right side machine is a runner as looks like not set up with working engine.

There is an air cleaner and a muffler on each of them you can just make them out in the picture as they are straight across from the other
