bought a new manifold and set of studs for the RC we are working on.
My question is should the studs be inserted all the way on the thread? They don't tighten up until nearly all the way-I was thinking that some of these went into the water jacket and needed a tight seal.
Second question, if I screw them all the way, I don't think I will have enough thread to put the nut on.
3rd question. The outside 2 holes are half a hole off. Have any of you had this situation? This is supposed to be an "American Made" better quality manifold.
Old manifold works fine on lining up.
