We got our first snow storm this year in Northern Joisey, and I had the opportunity to put my 716H to work after last winters resto. We only got 6-8" of snow, but the 40-50 mph wind gusts made some 2.5' drifts. Especially right down the center of my driveway. The ole' 716 went through those 2 foot drifts with that AC dozer blade at 1/4 throttle like they weren't even there! To say the least, I was impressed! Wit' that .030 over big ole' one lung Kohler, and the aggressive ATV tires out back, when she hit the drifts, the engine labored down to a mono-tone and just kept pushin! The Hydrostatic drive works quite nicely being able to regulate pushing power. The electric lift is a back saver to. This was the first snow fall I had fun in since I was a kid! Can't wait for it to snow again! LOL!!

If you like pushing snow with a dozer, you need to look for a blower for your tractor (they'll be cheaper this summer).

Brian, that Ford looks mean! LOL! That thing can push some serious snow for sure! That Simplicity makes for some quick clean-ups to it looks. Thanks guys for the pics n' video's!

I have a 712H with 46" trip blade and it works great too. Great old heavy garden tractors. I have Carlisle All Terrian ATV tires and don't need chains because they work so good. Mine are loaded with window washer fluid for weight.

I have a B-112 torn apart in my shop. Came with a snow blower, tiller and mower deck. My rural mailman sold it to me. he was gonna give it to me, but I insisted on paying. It needs help so next week I will pick up another B-112 (69 numbers different in serial no.) with a sickle bar mower in Montgomery, NY. Bought off Craigslist. The one from NY will be a donor tractor and I really like having the sickle. The snow blower should be useful. More on this as it progresses (which is usually a long time wih my projects) Bob@allisdowneast

I have been plowing with a 716H for about 28 years. It has fluid in the tires and chains. It always has worked pretty well.
Last year we had about 5' of snow at one time... that is the only time it 28 years the ol 716 couldn't do much with it.
They really are a good little machine and I think rather good looking too.

It ain't an Allis, but my 12HP Ford can push a lot of snow.
