Thought you guys might like to see a couple pictures of my 1/16th 220FWA and 3000 Series On-Land 8BTM plow that I just finished. I have had the photo of the real machines that someone posted here a few months ago as my screensaver so decided to build a model of the set. I modified the 220 by scratchbuilding the frontend so the cylinder works when the wheels are turned. Then build the hitch and 3PT, turned the weights and front rims and hubs, and upgraded the operators station with levers and pedels. Then scratch built the plow from pictures and measurements taken this summer. Thanks to Jim Lunneborg for the loan of a manual on this plow which was a great help during the build. The plow is all brass. I hoped to build the unit with reset moldboards but too many parts, and once it is painted things don't move well anyhow. So I settled on the shear bolt moldboards. Hope you enjoy the pictures. More on my website at acmodelsofarizona.weebly.com. Thanks!! Armand

Glad it worked out for you, I got my book back yesterday, if there are any others you may need I have a bunch in that vintage, bought at a dealer sale, mid 60s and into 70s, good looking setup.

Thanks for the comments guys!! I am not doing anything that any one of you couldn't do if you had a lot of time on your hands!! LOL I have been at it for a while so it gets easier, not to mention a shop full of the right tools.
Darrel, good eye!! I knew the real one had 7 bottoms but then I seen in the manual that it could be extended by one or two so I chose two. Armand

The extensions that went on the 6 bottom frame, that we had anyway, were single moldboards, not two moldboards on one piece of frame. Wish I knew where that plow was (8 16") today. It was the perfect plow for the 210 my Dad had (both bought new) and now that we have another 210 we pull only have 6 16" to pull with it (usually we use our 200 as it handles it OK.

Amos, I know that the 9000 series pull type plow that I built earlier showed a five bottom and could be extended to 7 by adding two sections to the frame. I sent the manual for this plow back to Jim already but also pretty sure that it showed two bottoms on one section of frame. If I am wrong, it will be known as a "prototype" as I am not going to change it. LOL Thanks for the comments!! Armand

Armand, I have a 9000 that is 6 16" as well. Dad told me one wet year he pulled a moldboard off to pull it with the 190. I have only seen a few mono frame plows in my life and two of them had "add on" moldboards and they were just single moldboards. I may be wrong about not being able to get a double moldboard option as I am no expert. If your plow is a prototype it still looks better then the real life one(s) I have around here. Great work!
