Here near Hamilton,Ontario(30m north of Buffalo) gas went up overnight to $1.14 per litre or about $4.55 per US gallon !!!
Any big increase south of the 49th ?
sure glad my D-14 isn't thirsty today !!!

Wednesday, $2.79
 
I'm guessing the continued ban on off-shore drilling

Dean's got it. Quantitative Easing policy by the feds, crude is traded on the $US. QE is necessary to keep interest rates artificially low; can you imagine what we would owe China if interest rates went up drastically! Just keep digging that hole folks, we gotta see daylight sooner or later!

You can track gold and silver prices and almost tell where oil is going also.
Now if you had bought a 1,000 or so ounces when (fill in dream date) you could be setting Ok now .  sure glad hind sight is so good .. LOL

About a week ago we were at $2.69. Today there was a station at $3.04. Rochester MN.

My wife just got back from town after attending a Russian Ballet performance (for some reason, I wasn't interested).  She said the gas prices had jumped to $3.03 from the $2.79 when she went into town!!
