I need some advice for the gear box in my Allis Chalmers C. I bought a very nice drag link for the tractor that is very tight at a salvage yard and now we are playing with the slop in the gear box. What could be causing this slop in the gear box?

If it is a Ross it could be this.

Blake,  When you get the pin in right let me wish you the best with the three adjusting cams.  They used to give me the biggest headache going.
