Aircraft Paint stripper...its nasty stuff. To get the grease off first though use Easy Off like R Aiken said....a time or two of that and grease and most loose paint is gone. Comet powder works pretty well too. Then use the stripper, a wire wheel, or scotch brite pads for a mini grinder, then wipe down very well with brake clean, them lacquer thinner so its good and free of chemicals or anything like that and spray away with primer....check out my thread titled Hoping to see some Orange....there are pics of mine done with with mostly easy off and a wire wheel....the frame rails were stripped.

For a lasting shine I would not use TSC Valspar Alkyd Oil Base primers and Enamels. I painted my trailer with Orange Valspar with Hardener. It sits outside. In 6 months it grew a beautiful coat of black mildew and the little shine it had is already gone bye-bye. My first choice would be PPG OMNI single stage over a epoxy primer. Cheaper and far superior to a rattle can paint job for sure. For a real slick job on the sheetmetal prime with epoxy. Do your body work if needed. Prime again and spray a high solids primer surfacer over all you want to look good. Sand smooth and spray paint top color coats.
When using liquid paint Strippers be sure to remove ALL traces of any dried on material before priming.

I have used the aircraft stripper and found it to be superior to others, they have it at Autozone. I have also used a product called Dad's, it is very good as well and a little easier to use as you can apply with a spray bottle. I used a pressure washer to knock it off but here again be cautious as the spray back is carrying the stripper and will get into your eyes if you do not wear goggles. If you use water you will need to be ready to prime as it will rust in a hurry. On the oily residue I have used naptha for a cleaner, seems to work well but is very flamable so use caution.
