Wife already told me no, but that doesn't mean I can't hide it somewhere like behind a couple garbage cans!   Was wondering what years they were made, what engine they had in them, and what the weight and width of one would be for transport.   I remember finding a site once that had all the Gleaner models on it and their specs, but I can't find it now when I need it.

Thanks for the info but it wasn't meant to be.  Was trying to work something out and last night the guy told me he was taking the engine off of it, and was going to scrap the rest.   Kind of brakes your heart to see a perfectly good combine go to China, but it was a 2 hour drive by car to get it, and that's what was holding me back.   If it was closer, it would have been in my back yard already and I would have been sleeping in the cab for a couple days at least.

Chuck, tell you're wife you're going to buy it, period. Tell her you're the boss! Are you a man or a mouse? Come on, squeak up! LOL

Come on now, I was still working on the deal in the background when the guy decided to scrap it.   I told her I was going to decorate it with some pumpkins and lights on the reel head for Halloween and her eyes lit right up!!!
