Hi I am new to farming and recently bought an A/C D-17 and I am wondering where do I find the serial #. I found a feq #'s does it start with a letter or # and should it be 6 digits. I am trying to find a disc it came with a plow had some fun with that but now I need more also on the right side I say that as I am sitting on it there is a round flat pulley which would accomadate a flat belt if I took that off is there a plate that would cover the hole and is that part worth anything, Thanks there is so much to learn about.

Yes the belt pulley is worth something to a lot of people. There are delete plates around for the pulley but if you can't find one it would be very easy to make one.

Where about in west Michigan are you? I am from the Fremont area. There are a couple salvage yards around me that may have parts if you need them.

I'm over south of Fenton, between Detroit and Flint!   If my wife had her way, we would be living on the west side real close to a beach!

Speaking of MI and surounding areas,  I recently heard the Great Lakes referred to as "The Third Coast"!  Thought that was an interesting thought!
