Plow tire and rim size

   I managed to acquire a 4-bottom trip plow but the tires are shot.  The rims are 6" wide by 18" diameter.  I found a couple of 225/45/18 tires which makes the tread width almost 9".  Will they fit well enough or do I have to keep searching for a pair of 7.50's?
