Well, I went and did it. screwed up my transmission tower that I bought. I slid the reverse fork back and the spring poped up. so I put the spring back in, then noticed the manual says there is a "ball" that has to go on the top of the spring. Ok, so I took the spring out and started gently tapping the tower of the floor to see if I can get the ball out, to put everything back in the correct way. Well, I must have smacked her a little hard, the next thing I know what I think is the "Interlock pin, #9. in the IT manual" comes out the hole. Great, how in the heck am I gonna get that back in? Is there a small soft plug that I can take out on the side?

Does anyone have pictures of this rodeo from a previous experience?

I only know one good thing about this, I will be a little sharper next time when fooling around with the tower!!!

thanks a bunch, don

This  happened to me a couple years back, I think what fell out is the interlock plunger, hopefully  the interlock pin is still in there... If you loosen the capscrew on the revearse selector you can slid the rail back out of the hole. you will need tweezers to hold onto the plunger and guide it back into place. I think that's how I got it back in, but like I said that was a few years ago.   John

Thanks John! I did end up getting her all together, it was a tough old cow, but I bulled her. I think brain surgeons have more fun than my current job! haha
