Iam having trouble with the transmission brake on a powershift 7020. The inching valve appears to have full travell but you can't get the range to go in at all without bad grinding. What can go wrong ?
I am also having trouble with the adjustment of the cable. It is only a few years old, I can't seem to get the adjustment correct. I don't know if it is supposed to be like this, but when in neutral position the lever coming out of the valve appears to have lot of play in it. When you select any other gear the lever is locked in rigid.
It is a black belly with serial number 4024.

Probably a broken snap ring in the valve body.Part # 70932837.It's pretty small, costs like seventy cents, but you have to take the valve body off to replace it.You will need the gaskets #70268292,seal#70930484,O-ring#70923560 to do the job.Other things could be bad,but that is the most likely. |
