Armand - Per Norm's book, the 2000 series monoframe was a semi-mount in-furrow plow.  At the same time Allis made a 3000 series monframe that was a semi-mount on-land plow.  Allis later came out with a 2nd phase of the 2000 series that had higher frame/trash clearance and Allis dropped the 3000 series but then came out with a 2500 series semi-mount on-land or in-furrow plow similar to the 3000.

I don't know enough to tell from that pic if it's a 3000 or a 2500 on-land plow.   Hopefully someone can point out the difference.  My best guess in comparing that pic to the ones in Norm's book is that it is a 3000 looking at the linkage on the front furrow wheel.  Mike

Ted, the bad part about a rig like that is the plowing would be done too fast.

Thanks for the info Mike!!   I have a model of the 220 FWA built and in the paint booth and started the plow model a couple days ago.   Then realized that the manual wasn't showing the front wheel assy.  I have the hitch assy and frame built so I guess I will need to decide if it is going to be an in-ferrow or on-land unit depending how it lines up with the tractor.   :>)   There's a few pictures of the  220 on my website at acmodelsofarizona.weebly.com      Armand

That is a 3000 Series Semi-Mounted plow. With the proper hitch set-up the tractor could run on land, or in the furrow. The 3000 Series was available with 6 to 8, 16 inch bottoms.  The 2500 Series was a Pull Type, and had 5 thru 8, 18 inch bottoms.  This info came from my A-C plow Operator's Manuals.
