3 position switch wiring question

I just want to confirm that the wire from the generator (Field) goes to the terminal on the resister , the wire for lights goes to the terminal on the fuse, and the other terminal on the switch goes to the amp gauge.

You are correct about the field wire going to the resistor, but the wire from the amp gauge goes onto the fuse and the light are connected to the  switch at, i think, screw terminal S, if I remember correctly,
