With "vintage equipment things will happen... I had better luck, found which spark plug was makeing my WD45 sound like it was green. Got the plug gapped and cleaned (with some bicycle brake cable) and purring again. Not sure if the too wide a gap or the dirty part was making it not fire.
peace and keep on plowing

how was your day? yesterday was not kind... old faithful baler turned a reel bar inside, had two nice loads of hay rained, flat tire on wagon, looked at weather channel and showed storms coming, went back with round baler and a bearing decided to squeel, then there was a damp slug of hay just as I started rolling a bale and wrapped... took to long to cut that slug out. got down to having one more bale to make before I would be finished on that field and it wrapped again, I decided to go home . Just shut the tractor off and I heard  what sounded like a jet engine then got hit by wind and heavy rain, got into the house and heard a BOOM, looked out and a tree limb from a tree 60 feet away hit the truck cab and window, no ins. on truck. If that stinken rain had held off for even 10 minutes, the truck would not have been there and at least one wagon would have been under cover... and lost my favorite hat to the wind too. must have been my lucky day ...^&(*

D17 is a good step up if tranny and 2spd are good and engine is sound.
A-C was selling the D15 as the tractor that would replace the WD45... and it did.

Some days are like that -- but JC(WI) that was was a doozer. Thought my day was lousy, but you sure made mine look better. Couple good days will put it all behind.
