I was at Portland too, on Saturday.

If you've never been to the Portland, IN show, you are really missing something big. This was my first year attending, and I simply could not believe how absolutely huge the show was.

Caterpillar was one of the featured tractors...it was cool to see all of those restored Cats, both on display, and working. I love those old Cats!

The roto-baler pictured above was really nice. I think the same guy owned the roto-baler, a C, a 45, a B, and a 190 that he was working with out on the track. He said the roto-baler works, and was going to bale straw with it a few weeks ago, but someone at the last show stole the twine out of the box!!!!!

Again, if you are into old tractors, you need to make it to the Portland show sometime in your life. It is HUGE!!!!!!

Clovis, you got a small part of mine in the last picture, next to the D-15.

Does that Ford in that picture have a stack?? If so that's odd but cool.

Clovis,

There has been at least one MM UDLX at each of the Portland shows for the last several years as I recall.  I would like to try out the 40 mph road gear in it and see how it handles!

Dusty,

My wife and I talked about your tractor (s) from Charlotte, do I also remeber you had a JD H there as well?  Too bad I didn't get to meet both you guys.

We should have had an AllisChalmers.com meet up at the show. I love meeting new people.

BTW, I saw a guy on Saturday taking pics of the roto-baler...I wonder if that was you?

I second Clovis's suggestion about going to the Portland show. I was there for the GOTO the other year, and I was extremely impressed with it. The flea market was GREAT! There's a ton of stuff for the gas engine guys too. It's a little bit of everything old and enjoyable. Have a little arts and crafts vending area set up to please the ladies too.
