What would be a fair price for a CA cultivater .  Our tractor club bought  a CA tractor for our 2011 tractor show to raffle off that  included  a complete cultivater  that is for sale . Thanks gjralls SW AR .

Hydraulic cylinder?  The CA cultivators I have have no cylinder, they use the tractors lift arm cylinders to lift, one side rotates forward (RH) for the main cultivator frame, the other side stays back for the wheel scratchers (LH). The cylinder stays with the tractor.

I bought a complete set of cultivators last year, w/ spring shanks (opposed the the trip shanks) and it was complete with every thing, including the row shields, lift handles and the little frame pieces that attach a side the engine that are usually missing, for 100 dollars and paid 25 dollars for delivery(gentleman was delivering something else nearby).  I need to get it painted and mounted.  Around here the mounted cultivators don't bring much as no one wants to go to the trouble of mounting them to show.  I imagine in several years however things will change.  I remember just a few years ago that mounted corn pickers, no matter how nice, would go to the scrappers for 25 bucks or so, now bring 1500+ in nice shape, and they were worse to mount.
