Bad news from the Machine Shop. Looks like another engine would be better than the one I have. Anyone have a solid engine - will go in a S III D 17. Thanks, Larry Miller

Larry i have a good one, it is not out of a series 3, but it does have the full flow oil system like a series 3 has so it would be the same. give me a call at 812 528 7718 some evening for specifics. I am in southern Indiana
