is anyone familiar with allis's 2 row snap coupler lister planter?  i just bought one on a farm sale for 5 dollars it is totally complete came with steel seed hoppers and corn plates and also what i was later told were cotton seed plates.  im curious on the rarity and actual value im not even gonna try to paint iti drug it through my cow lots to polish the listers and then sprayed them with slip plate to keep from rusting other than that im only gonna polish the paint on it the decals are in great condition even had patent sticker still on it. has anyone even seen one and would it be something to take to a show, whats it really worth????

Evening Josh. Sounds like a great find. As to value a picture would help but if it's in as good a condition as you describe it sounds like it would be something to keep as original as possible and would be very worthwhile to take to shows.

How high WOULD you have bid to get it at the sale if someone else had wanted it?

The second highest bidder determines the "value"..........
