Where could I find a governor assembly (with or without distributor) for a WD45 like the one pictured below?  The threaded portion (for the rear distributor bolt) split off mine the other night when I was tightnening back up after adjusting timing...

Thanks

Goose...

This is not a picture of my tractor, I posted it to show the part I'm looking for.  Sorry for the confusion.

Also the bolt didn't shear off, instead the treaded portion of the cast iron housing itself broke off leaving me with the bolt and a piece of the housing in my hand...not good.

You sire, are the very sort of person JB Weld was invented for.

If the piece in the photo truly is like yours - the part that attaches to the engine/timing case is held on by three bolts and it  is aluminum. The inside one gets overlooked by a lot of people - until just too late.

Anyways,  well scrubbed surfaces, JB Weld and a fresh gasket - and 20-30 years from now, it will still be holding.

Slipping on a fresh gasket between repaired joint & engine means it won't stick when you disassemble at some later time.
