From a visual inspection, the 1940 WC seems to need rear axle seals and front wheel bearing seals...Have not had anything apart yet...just noticed leakage.

Where do you find the typical small parts?  Can you pull the seals and just go to a parts house and compare them or is there any specialty shops?

Go to the top of the page and click on PARTS.
Sandy lake can get or has most of the stuff you want/need.

The rear hub seals won't be found at your local bearing store. I believe the front had felt seals which I don't think are available anymore. A rubber lip seal for he front can probably be found at a local supplier.
