over the weekend I bought a 1948 C with a brush hog. rolled it off the trailer and started mowing, smoothest running Allis I have ever heard...
Original paint and decals, working on getting these cropped... C67253...

It is a home made 3pt but it will take any three point implements I want to put on it. It would be a little difficult to use a plow as it doesn't move side to side and I would have to rase the plow after every row! But so far it mows anything I roll over, which is all I need it for now...

Miles, That C looks so good as is that I would suggest that it not be painted but kept as is. Also, the B-C engine is a smooth running engine.
Great Find. Neat unit.
Good Luck!

John, didn't get a chance to start on it, the day we left was the only day the sun shined and it didn't rain! the Brush Hog didn't care about no stinkin' rain though! Got both fields mowed in the rain on Sunday. Bill, hopefullly my 44 C will sound as nice after I get it fixed, I've heard everything from a stuck valve to a broken piston... I need to get it back to Colorado so I can work on it more consistently. |

Big score there Miles! Nice unit in its work clothes! Good luck with her. Some day I'm gonna add a NF C model to the corral...
