Does anybody have the coupler that is between the generator and pump for power steering on a WD45D that they would sell. It needs to be in good shape because the pump shaft is worn a little.

I can't find one anywhere so I was checking it out and a 5/16 12 point fits good and tight over the splined shaft that is 12 point also, so I bought a deep well socket cut it to length and put the roll pin in the center to hold in place just like the original steel one. Try it tonight raking hay. I know that sounds like some major riggen doesn't it.

Well I have bigger problems, the shaft on the gen. is real good but the pump is stripped pretty bad and my pump off of the parts tractor isn't much better.I will get the right coulping off one of you because the socket is to thin walled for me and I may have to find pump also.

Agco still had the shafts a couple of years ago...I think they were around $160.
