I have read and re-read and even had my wife and 3 soon to be 4 kids look all over and still nothing. I have a WD I have looked in the 2 spots it shows where that serial numbers should be and there is nothing there! Only numbers anyone can find are n the side ov the engine.. Anyone know what I am missing?

I have read on here that some rear end cases might have been replaced and would not have been stamped. Some have said the serial number may be stamped on the top of the hydraulic pump, I don't know if all were stamped that way though. You can also get an idea what year it is if it has the original engine by comparing engine number to the chart on Bryon's website.

On my WD45 I couldn't see, let alone read, the SN until I scraped the paint off down to the metal. Could be that your WD's SN is the same if there's a decent coat of paint on the rear end.

I have striiped it down,, just nothing but metal there  no stamping or anything Will check my engine number..
