I scanned in the WD Operating Instructions, some useful information in there. There are some handwritten notes next to the carb picture on page 17, I would guess they are correct as my tractor runs great. Maybe someone can confirm.

I just picked up my first tractor...ever. Found a 1950 WD with a loader to help clean up around this place. I will post some pics and upload a vid tomorrow. Getting late and and the above manual I scanned in took longer than I thought.

Thanks for the great forum looks like a great place for information.

Mike

Mike, First, welcome to the best tractor site on the net. There is some great information in that manual. All I have here is the IT manual. There are a lot of little things left out of it it seems. I have heard people say a good starting point for cab adjustments is 1 1/2 turns out on each. The idle speed adjustment may vary with tractors.
Thanks for sharing the manual. If everybody that owned a WD had (and read)this file it might save 15% of the repeated questions on this forum.

In 35 pages this manual provides more information about any product than I have ever seen. You look at a car manual today with 100's of pages that really don't say much.

Anyway I am going to change the title of the post so it will hopefully show up in a search. Changing to "WD Operating Instructions PDF Download"
