I am working on a friends John deere 70. The distributor for the pony motor was really hacked together. I have everything together right as far as I can tell. I have the coils wired in but I need to figure out how the power from the ignition isĀ supposedĀ to get to them. I see where the wire passes through the distributor housing, but anything I bolt it too will ground it out. I think I may be missing some sort of insulator. Does anyone have a good source for info on this?
