I have a 1950 WD that I bought a while back with a loader on it.  A month later I found a WD45 with a plow and blade that somehow made its way over to my place.

I moved the loader from this WD to my WD45 and works nice.  I have been told by my wife that I don't need to keep two tractors around, so the WD had to find a new home to stay at.

I believe she is a good old one for use, restoration, or to add to your collection!

History:
- Tractor came out of Northern IL from a widow.

The Good:
- Everything runs and works.
- Complete solid tractor
- Hydrolics work good.  Rams and pump work fine.  Handled loader when it was attached.
- Good Tin.  Fendors have some dings and bends on the bottom edges
- Hand and Foot Clutch Solid and Tight
- Transmission & Rear End - Shifts, runs, sounds good.
- Brakes - Need TIghtening on one side, but both work
- No Oil Leaks
- NEW RIM (couple years old) on 1 side. ($350 - 400 new)
- Tire tread is good.  They are weather checked, not sure how old.
- Radiator in good shape

The Bad:

- She is a smoker!!  Tried Lucas Oil and Sea Foam, it had a slight Inprovement by using them.
- Believe the valves or guides or rings need to be replaced.
- Engine sounds and runs good.  I didn't want to tear into her and deal with what I may find.
- Exhaust Manifold has a hole in it and needs to be replaced.
- Carb will leak when you leave her sit.  I shut off the gas and that stops it.
- Not sure how well she charges or not?  Haven't gotten the generator tested 6 volt

The Ugly:
- Someone has tried (a few times) to help the appearance by using a spray can to dress her up.
- Someone welded a top link to the rear axel.  Not sure why...

I am asking $850 for her.  I am located in Central Illinois - 61770 zip

Let me know if you have questions

I am sure your wife has many dresses, prs of shoes, kitchen chairs, etc. They do not understand, 1 tractor is simply not enough & besides the 45 would get lonesome.
Fred your wife leaves everyday & always comes back! The Grandson won't let her leave you anyway...Harvey

I also have this tractor listed on Craigslist.

Some scammer from the other side of the world wants all of my information so he can send me a cashiers check and arrange shipping for the tractor.  I don't mind if a scammer really wants to buy her, but I am not going to let someone ruin my credit or open 50 credit cards in my name!

Sad state of our world...
