In a near-by town sits a little Allis 808 or 811 lawn tractor it sits in a shead that has open sides and has stuff crammed around it like it has been sitting there for a little whyle and i dont know if it would run or not?? so how much should i offer??

Let the seller tell you what he wants 1st. Those guys who don't want to tell me what they want 1st, I always give them a real low ball number and when they express their amassementabout my offer, I ask, what do you want.
What this country needs is more unemployed politicians-and lawyers.

A few years back I bought my 608LTD 5 speed from a mower repair shop for $300.00. Mechanically perfect of course. I did dismantle only to clean and repaint as someone had repainted before cheaply and with cheap paint.
