Just playing around with the antiques...

The tractor is my WD-45 that was sold from my grandfathers dealership on October 10, 1955.  I bought it from the original owners son 4 years ago.

The planter is a John Deere 494A that my future wifes (11 days to go) grandfather gave me.

The combination worked well together... only problems i had was the marker arms didn't want to cooperate with me... also the big tree that my dad put in the middle of the field...  maybe that's what caused the marker problems...

Power steering is nice right? I used to have a 495A planter and if you planted from bottom to top on a sidehill the markers would not go back down.
 Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials.

Used to have a 494, the markers can be a problem but with patients they can be adjusted to work good.
