Value on a C for parts???

It all depends on if the tin is straight and if it has any good rims and tires. The engine being free would add to the value some probably but from what you say I wouldn't go over a couple hundred.

Hmm, seems to already have a CA starter on it. That's a plus for you. I think the radiator would be the same, maybe even the shutters. I'm not sure the radiator shroud would work on yours. One final drive should be the same. I think the brake drums would interchange. Engine would be the same, except for the governor spring. gas tank is different, if I remember right, CA should have a "dent" in the bottom. Front pedestal is different. Lots of things on the C had been changed by the time it got morphed into the CA.

On the flip side, that pickup plow looks like it's all there. All of the lift pieces seem to still be where they should be. Seems to have a hand lift, as I don't see a PTO or hydraulic pump. That would be worth something. Tin looks pretty good, from what I can tell. Is the hood laying around somewhere? I would love to get some tin in that shape, though the fenders are different than what you need(I think). Tractor seems to have been turned over at some point, look at the steering column and the top of the seat back. Probably had another steering wheel bolted on to replace the destroyed one. My C had the same damage on it. Not too sure about the rear rims, I know the fronts are trashed. Looks like one rear may be rusted out in the pic, I don't know.

I wouldn't go over a couple hundred on it. You might find a few pieces you can use, and sell or trade that plow or other parts to get some more pieces that you need for yours.

I would be interested in the plow and ALL the required mounting hardware if it would fit my B. I still have yet to find one locally.

I'd offer him a Benjamin to haul it away. There are a TON of C's out there. I know there are much more $ in parts there, but simple supply and demand. That and I've gotten to the point where we don't feel bad to low ball someone (within reason, and not family, etc...), you can always raise your offer....

So, unless its something you really need, start low. LOL!

the drawbar for the plow is wider on the c than on a b. . If you used that plow on a b you would have to cut it & make narrower/

	Gonna go look at a '50(?) C. Guy says the rear end is locked up and doesn't know if the engine is free. Been sitting for many years. Depending on condition of the tin and other parts that will fit my CA I may want it but have no idea what a "parts tractor" may be worth. If I can get him to send me a picture I'll post it up for a better help with a guesstimate on value. Any ideas? Larry

	Got some more info and pics of the C. Pretty much a bone pile but some bones in there that looks like they are worth having. Any help with a reasonable value on this pile so I can make the guy an offer.

	I've given $75-200 for comparable C and CA's, Good front grill and the plow are a plus. I might be interested in the plow if Charlie doesn't take it.

	Engine FREE?? Yup, that is the way I would look at it after looking at the pictures. 50 bucks for the plow and hardware, 100 bucks for the tractor less engine which should be thrown in FREE. Along with the tires.

	According to the guy that has it the pick up plow and linkage is still functional on the hulk. If I decide to get you can have first shot at the plow if you can come and get it.
