Hey yall!!
Welp... I spent my spring break down on the farm... And Rich, R Aikin, was nice enough to come down and help me get my Allis running (again)... This tractor died from the infamous orange gas last spring, and sat out in the field, without a manifold, all year. I turned it over with a crank, and managed to get it into the shop... Rich simply hooked up a carb that he fixed up, and set up the distributor, and she fired right up... It was awesome... Anyways, now this tractor is all apart and sitting my shop... Im working on painting it with the help of a borrowed sandblaster... Enjoy the videos!! For some reason... I cant get my videos to post here... But heres the links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-kSV6QGxLo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJRKtck9SSk Edited by Lanse - 08 May 2010 at 3:53pm |

Love to hear the B-C Engine run. Also, really enjoy looking at the open valve train. Reminds me of the days we did all that work in the shop. Sounds like a good unit.
Great Job!
I would hang onto that gal too. She's great in a shop. I could never convince my wife to join me in the shop.
Good Luck!

Nice to see you got her running again and you're sticking with it and not giving up. I think everyone should give Rich an internet style pat on the back for taking the time to mentor Lanse and help him with your AC projects. Rich like many other guys on this forum can make something that seems hard for an inexperienced young mechanic and make it look so easy. Lanse, make sure that the knowledge that Rich is passing on to you sinks in so that you can in turn teach another generation in the future. |

Lanse, I watched your plowing video with the Kuboto. You have the top adjusted too short. The front plow is in real deep and the rear one is running shallow. By making the top link longer, you will get both plows to plow at the same depth.
Great videos. Thanks, Bob
