my planter monitor has a light on that says low voltage this came on last year at the end of the season this yr i put the planter on another tractor and got the same light this tractor has new batteries and charges well i even ran a set of jumpers to the tractor batterys to make sure they had a full charge but light still stayed on. all three fans run fine any ideas?  from what i seen last yr when i planted with the light on it planted fine. contune to plant or does something need looked at?  Thanks Nick

Check your power leads from the batteries to the monitor itself.  I had to redo ours..it was about frayed in two.  Would cause the monitor/blower motors not to get enough current...and not have enough air to hold seed in seed discs.  Just remember, three fans are pulling a good bit of current..have heard of people swapping out their alternator for a bigger one just for planting season.  and...make sure all your connections are clean.   -Wes

sounds like a bad ground on that row. most of the dealerships have testers for your monitors, might try that. also i am parting out an air champ 4-row. it has a monitor.
