We had a nice visit with Neville and Allison Skerman from Queensland Austrailia yesterday. They are taking about three weeks to drive across the country from Miami to L.A.. They are going to stop at anything that might be of interest along the way. Thanks to this forum I now have freinds from down under. Ron

First Welcome to our Friend from Down Under.  We are pleased to have many on this forum from Australia or New Z.

I really enjoyed following the tractor trek across the USA last year.  I would encourage Neville and Allison to do just that.  It is a beautiful country and I know they will have an enjoyable time.  I'm too far out of the way in Maryland but would encourage any of our forum members to chip in and suggest some routes for their trip.
Again Welcome!
Good Luck!

Route 66 is a good cool ride. Or historic rt. 30 runs from east coast to the west coast, throught the midwest. Always thought that would be cool to do.

And there's routes from coast to coast ranging from 2 in the north to 99 or something like in the south.

The Big Bud is near highway 20 near Independence Iowa this summer.

Neville & Allison from down under stopped by our farm today to visit and look at orange. I arranged a meeting with all of us and Norm Swinford at the remaining part of the Allis plant on 70th & Greenfield in West Allis. We took the 45 min.drive and had a fabulous time with Norm learning about the history of the AC manufacturing plant  30 years ago. Late afternoon Neville & Allison headed out for their next destination, Minn., MN.  A good time was had by all.
