I noticed since I have had the G running it seems to peg the oil pressure gauge. Yesterday I swapped out the original Allis gauge for a black faced 30 PSI gauge and started her up. It pretty much pegs the 30 PSI gauge. Is this an indication of something needing attention? I am used to the Allis built engines running 6-12psi and don't know much about this little engine yet.

According to the specs in the dealer service manual oil pressure is specified at a minimum of 7 lbs and a max of 20 lbs. Ideal is 15-20 lbs. The pressure can be adjusted at the pressure relief valve which is located on the left front (crank end) of the block towards the top. Looks like a large slot head screw in the manual.
