I resently bought a 175 diesel with a burned out wire harness. I installed a new harness and it runs good but the water temp gauge reads hot. I installed a new gauge, sending unit, and 180 thermostat. When the gauge reads hot I checked the block and head with a infared thermometer and it reads 180. Any ideas?
