   I'm trying to get my WD started and the bendix keeps locking up at the rear position. I pulled the starter and cleaned all the crud off, put a few drops of oil on the spiral shaft, gear works smooth up and down.  Put it back on, after one or two tries it locks up again.  Time for a new bendix, or am I doing something wrong. How do you remove the thing, none of my manuals cover the procedure.  Thanks.
