I may be able to pick up a subsoiler that has a pin hitch.  Not too familiar with this set up on a WD45.  Can a snap coupler drawbar be used or modified to work with a pin hitch mounted subsoiler or do I need a pin hitch drawbar?
Thanks for the help.

No,you don't use the drawbar for the subsoiler. You would have to remove the Snap Coupler bell from you 45 to use a pin hitch set up.

I believe some sub-soilers attached the factory drawbar (i think either one will work) instead of directly to the tractor

If it is one that attaches to the drawbar, he still won't need a pin hitch drawbar. He could attach it to the snap couple drawbar.
