really, gee just HOW did you think Google Maps and others KNOW what the traffic patterns are !!!!

OF COURSE GM sold YOUR data, though YOU did agree to it......

What I'd love to know is why when a Hummer was stolen last Monday in Toronto, it wasn't remotely  disabled or at least LOCATED, it took 9 cop cars(3 now history) to get the under 30 guy with 'funny name', 70+ previous charges on bail, to box him in on Friday !!

How much different is the GM computer than JD would use for tracking? JD dealer had a new tractor stole off the lot a year ago. The tractor had a tracker, which stopped sending info about an hour after it left the lot. Local sheriffs' story was the professionals know how to do it, no fuss no bother.

All the tracking systems are parasitic. GMs is a box in the trunk or a separate module in the engine compartment for On Star that os currently OE Standard install regardless the model or options package. Yes these can be depowered if know where to cut the cord.

These have a PROM Device inside, Can Input data to it and read it off that but cannot be deleted by typical methods.
