Stopped by a misguided friend's place (he has red tractors - cubs) and another red guy asked if I knew where he might find a narrow front end for a 185. He says someone had put a Chevy front end on it. Never heard of that before. He also has an IB as well as other colors of old iron.

Have to find a narrow front from a 180, but they are rare.  By the time 185's were sold A-C had discontinued selling narrow fronts.
The innovators offer what others will imitate.

Thanks, Russ. I will pass that info along. I am a lot more familiar with the D series and prior than anything that came after them. I left the farm in 1964 and did not get involved in it again until the late 90's.

ronnie hill in eagleville tn has a factory narrow 185, they did make them
