I'm looking at getting a second planter for the farm. I would no-till corn 30" and beans 15" if possible. What are the main differences in the White 5000 and White 6000 series planters? Is one better suited? I would plant between 150 and 450 acres. Thanks in advance.

For the most part they are the same planter. Either one would be well suited to your operation. There are not many differences in them the disc openers are about an inch smaller on the 5000 series. I even think the seed plates will interchange. I have a 6100 6x30 and love it it does all my planting and gives me very little trouble.
