Don't think you will find a Gleaner with a 15 engine in it. Maybe a power unit if your lucky. But best bet is just rebuild your old engine.

The D15 SII has the 160 CI gas engine. I think that there were some Allis dozers that shared the 160 CI engine. The 149CI engine from a D14 is a drop-in replacement, altho, there would be a few ponys lost. Check with Tony/Barb, Jim Danforth, and a few other of the vendors for costs on the rebuild kits.

The 149 was only used in Series I D15s, and had higher compression than the 14.  As JC said, your best bet is to rebuild the one you have.

You will have to look on the side of the engine and see if there is a 149 or a 160 on the side of the engine .. there is a big difference on the cost of the rebuild! Message me.

Yep BIG difference.  I can get both, but the 160 is a lot more.  The 160s are out there in power units, forklifts, and a few other applications.  You probably are still better off rebuilding yours though.
I love the sound of my D15 II.  Nothing else sounds like it.  If you have a series II, it came factory with a 160.  You can comfirm as has been posted by looking at your engine serial number, it will start with the displacement.

The series II is the 160 engine. A rebuild kit will probably run around 900 to 1000 dollars. You may find one for less.
Think for yourself and be your own expert. Be willing to change your mind; however, willingness to change your mind doesn’t mean that you will. Blindly following any path is the pinnacle of insanity.
