Just wondering what you guys all think, what percent of A-C parts have been discontinued by AGCO overall? I'm talking about all old A-C equipment, plows, balers, rakes, tractors, etc. I think it might be somewhere in the 80% range myself.

That is a good question. I do know that I was still able to get parts for my old sickle mower and 904 mower conditioner last year, but at a hefty price. It would be nice to see a list of all the discontinued parts.

It would be easy if AGCO would put a small case d in front of every part number in their online catalog for easy identifacation of discontinued parts, eh? Gary

I would say that 80% would be a conservative estimate excluding tractors. To actually go through all of their parts books and label each discontinued part would be an unbelievable task. If you have a question on a part call a dealer, give them the number you found on the website or in a book and they will tell you if it is available.
Although we take it for granted at times we are lucky we can get parts for 50+ year old tractors. Jim |

We once had a 10 year old Kubota that needed a bunch of parts that were NLA. As Jim says, we should count our lucky stars that we are able to get parts for 50, 60, and 70 year old equipment.
