In response to the accident, I googled his name and it said he was hauling bales on a roadway and the tractor tipped over on him; he was a very good person from the info thats on the google pages  ; May he rest in peace ;

There was a post about him and the sale a week or so ago.  I'd heard he was hauling soybeans and the tractor tipped over.  The article didn't say which tractor, perhaps it was someone elses or it wasn't in the sale.   He was very involved with the community and seems to have had a lot of friends.  Prices seem pretty cheap.

There was a pretty good crowd at the sale I thought. Nice day and good chance to visit with folks. Here is an article from State Journal Register about the accident last fall. It happened about 1/4 mile south of his home.

PETERSBURG -- Authorities Thursday released the name of the man killed Wednesday evening in a tractor rollover in rural Menard County.

Terry Steinhour, 61, of rural Greenview was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:28 p.m. by deputy coroner Ben Hollis.

Sheriff’s deputies said Steinhour was killed when the Oliver 1655 tractor he was operating overturned in a ditch along Peoria Street just south of Irish Grove Church Avenue.

Hollis said an autopsy was performed Thursday, but results are pending. A coroner’s inquest will be held at a later date.
