I seen a series 3 D-17 with wide front bad tires and rims at a farm sale two weeks ago bring $3800. in eastern IA. Series 4 usually bring a better price I've seen them bring close to $7000. but I wouldn't give that much, but than again I own 3 of them already.

They seem to be increasing in value!

That D-17 on Iron Search is fixed up real purty, and they"ve got a real purty price on it. Too bad they didn't do their homework and put the "Allis-Chalmers" decals on right.

Monitordoc -yes, a 3 point from a 170 should bolt right on to a D17 Series IV including the traction booster linkages.  175/180/185 will also bolt right on but I believe the 180/185 might have had some differences in the TB linkages...been a while since I looked at the part closely so not sure.  Mike
