Looked at some WDs and WCs for sale last night. I bought a WD with wide front, no engine, junk tires and wheels. The guy also has a D19 diesel that he's not sure if he's going to sell yet or not. It's a diesel with wide front and non-power adjust rear wheels and snap coupler. Lots of grime on the engine. Flat tire on the rear. grill mangled. no turbo charger, just a straight pipe on top of the manifold. He said it does run but smokes A LOT and needs to be rebuilt. Paint poor. He was thinking in the $2500 range but wasn't sure. I didn't make an offer but was thinking more like $1250-$1500. I'm thinking there's about $2000-$3000 in parts and repair to fix it up to a use able farm tractor. This is in central Wisconsin area. Anyone have thoughts on it's value?< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall;" id="jsProxy" ="">

If it smokes a lot under load, it might be because the turbo is removed and they are still pumping the same amount of fuel with not enough air to burn it all.
