I a 7000 Red Belly That I can't seem to keep the front tires tight on. I re torque all the time they still come loose (no loader). Does anyone know if anything can be done? Or how hard would it be to change it out to the HD 8-lug hubs or axle?

It's not too hard to do either. It sounds like the threads on the wheel bolts or hubs or both are worn. I have a complete axle for $500.00 with tires. Or use lock-tite.

We had a similar problem once. We ended up using longer bolts that threaded through the hub and then put a jam nut on the back side of the hub. It fixed the problem, but the permanent solution was to replace the hub. -Dan |

You can also screw bolts through the hub from the backside that are long enough to act like wheel studs and then use lug nuts on the front side. This is how I put chrome lug nuts on some of my tractors. Kip
