I have a allis chalmers 190 D model is there a difference in a 190 and a 190 D My father has a 190 with out the D after the serial number and there both deisel, cause my first guesse was it stood for deisel. any help is appreciated. thanks. and if there is a model difference what was the changes ?

Maybe the one without the D after the serial number was originally gas and now has a diesel engine in it?

I thought that also but they would have had to switch it at the factory cause its been in the family since new. LOL this has got me stumped cause i've looked at several others and some have it some dont. and i noticed on some websites that got tractors forsale they have a column for the 190,190D,and 190Xt. probably got something special ill never be able to find parts for lol thats my luck.

I have seen it as 190XTD, 190D, D190, D190XT. I have not seen a diesel without the D, but I have yet to see them all.
