Where do you find serial #'s on a d17 and a 190xt  does the engine have a seperate serial # from the rest of the tractor? thanks

The serial number is on the left side of the torque tube were it bolts to the engine.
Yes the engines have thier own numbers.
I'll post a picture for the serial number.
